I get asked a lot to post recipe for pasta dishes that do not require store bought sauce. Though one might think that make your own sauce is difficult it really is not too bad
I really hope that you try and make this dish – it is so simple anyone can cook this meal 🙂
I know I am using gluten free penne and adding flour to the dish – I only had gluten free pasta on hand so…. yea…. you can make this dish gluten free by using gluten free flour and pasta. The flour is very important on making the sauce – so do not miss adding it
I have a little obsession with this blue plate— I think pretty much anything looks amazing on it. Anyways I think adding the tomatoes is a perfect way to cut the creaminess from the sauce
I added the tomatoes right at the end so they still have a crunch to it
My dad of course helped me make this recipe and I remember to snap a picture ( my dad helps out with 90% of my recipes I just forget to take pictures)
This recipe makes enough for 4 for a sizeable dinner 🙂 I suggest adding a veggie on the side like a salad 🙂
