How to Keep Guacamole Fresh
Whether you make your own guacamole, or you buy it at the store, exposure to oxygen can turn your guacamole brown before you have finished it.
To keep this from happening, pour a little bit of water on top of the guac so that it is completely covered with water and then cover the container.
The water will act as a protective layer between your guac and the air to keep it fresh.
When you are ready to eat it, just pour off the water and give it a stir!
